1. What these terms cover

These terms govern your use of the Reply Ghost browser extension, the Reply Ghost service behind it, and this website. By installing the extension or buying a plan you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the service. Reply Ghost is operated by a sole trader based in Prestatyn, United Kingdom. Contact: x4f9sj5662@privaterelay.appleid.com.

2. What the service is

Reply Ghost is a writing assistant. It suggests LinkedIn posts, replies and comments in a sidebar. It does not post, click, type, or take any other action on LinkedIn on your behalf, and it is designed so that it cannot. You decide what to publish, and you publish it yourself.

Reply Ghost is an independent product. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to LinkedIn Corporation. "LinkedIn" is a trademark of its owner.

3. Your account and keys

• Free use requires no account. Paid plans are activated with a key shown to you once at purchase. Keep it safe; we store only a hash and cannot recover a lost key, though we can issue a replacement on a verified request.
• A key can be active on up to 2 browser installs at once (Team plans include 3 keys). Binding a key to a third install releases the oldest.
• Keys are for you (or, on Team, your named team). Reselling or publicly sharing keys is not permitted and can lead to revocation.

4. Plans, prices and billing

• Free: 5 generations a month. Hobby: GBP 9 a month, 30 generations, 1 voice profile. Pro: GBP 19 a month, 3 voice profiles and pattern analysis. Team: GBP 49 a month, Pro for 3 people with shared voice profiles. Annual billing is 20% less.
• Payments are processed by Stripe. We never see your card details.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from the Stripe customer portal; your plan stays active until the end of the paid period.
• If you are a consumer in the UK, you have a statutory 14 day cancellation right for new purchases. Because the service starts immediately, a refund in that window is reduced proportionally by usage. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights.
• Prices can change. Existing subscriptions are told at least 30 days before a change affects them, with time to cancel first.

5. Fair use on "unlimited"

The Pro and Team plans are marketed as unlimited because no realistic personal use reaches the ceiling. The ceiling exists: 400 generations per key per calendar month, plus a rate limit of 5 generations per minute. These stop shared logins and scripts from running up model costs that honest users would end up paying for. If you hit the cap in ordinary use, contact us and we will look at it.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Reply Ghost to:

• impersonate any real person other than yourself, or pass off generated text as a named person's words;
• fabricate quotes, statistics or sources and present them as real;
• harass, defame or deceive;
• probe, overload or interfere with the service, or attempt to extract other users' data;
• resell generated output as a bulk content service without your own editorial involvement.

You are responsible for everything you post. Suggested text is a draft for your judgement, not our speech. Your use of LinkedIn is governed by your own agreement with LinkedIn, and staying within it is your responsibility.

7. What we do not promise

We describe the mechanism accurately: the extension reads nothing without your click, sends nothing to LinkedIn, and changes nothing on the page. We do not control LinkedIn and make no promises about decisions LinkedIn may take about any account, and we make no promises about the reach, engagement or business results of anything you post.

Generated text can be wrong, dull or off tone. Read it before you use it.

There is one thing we do stand behind. If your LinkedIn account is restricted or banned while you are an active paying subscriber using Reply Ghost as intended, we will refund the last three months of subscription fees you paid us, and we will help you prepare an appeal to LinkedIn. If that happens, our safety audit missed something and we owe you. This is a goodwill commitment in addition to your statutory rights, not a limit on them. It does not apply where the restriction follows from other automation or scraping tools you ran on the account, or from content that breaches section 6. To claim, email us from the address on your account within 30 days of the restriction.

8. Your content and ours

• Text you submit stays yours. You grant us only the transient right to process it to produce your suggestions, as described in the privacy policy.
• To the extent we hold any rights in generated output, we assign them to you. Check your own obligations (for example an employer's policies) before publishing.
• The extension, service, pattern library and this site remain our property. Do not copy or redistribute the pattern library as a product of your own.

9. Availability and liability

The service is provided as is. We aim for it to be reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability; the model provider or host can have outages we do not control. To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you is capped at the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

10. Suspension and termination

We can suspend or revoke access for breach of section 3, 5 or 6, with notice and a reason except where abuse is ongoing. You can stop using the service at any time; erasure of your data on request is described in the privacy policy.

11. Changes to these terms

If these terms change materially, the date above changes and paying subscribers are told by the contact route they used, at least 14 days before the change applies. Continuing to use the service after that is acceptance.

12. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that consumers keep any protections and forum rights their local law gives them. Talk to us first: most problems are fixable by email within a day or two.
